Originally from Sandy Ground in St. Elizabeth, Danielle was a beloved Spanish teacher at the school.
The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. when Danielle was a passenger in a taxi. A Mitsubishi L200, attempting to dodge a pothole, veered off course and collided with the rear of the taxi. The impact of the collision led to significant injuries for both Danielle and the taxi driver, proving ultimately fatal for her.
In addition to Danielle and the taxi driver, the crash resulted in six other individuals sustaining injuries of varying degrees. While Danielle was under medical treatment, she was sadly pronounced dead.
