Joseph Weber III Death

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the tragic passing of Joseph A. Weber III, a 65-year-old resident of Stark County. The unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday morning around 9:33 a.m. on Millersburg Road, according to Harry Campbell, the chief investigator of the Stark County Coroner’s Office.

Mr. Weber was operating heavy machinery for a pond construction project in a rural farm field when the accident happened. As he maneuvered the equipment backward over soft terrain, the back end began to slide uncontrollably. Despite his efforts, he could not regain control. Compounding the tragedy, Mr. Weber was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, resulting in his being thrown from the machine and subsequently becoming trapped beneath it. Those who were at the scene with him immediately called for emergency assistance at 8:40 a.m., but it was too late to save him.
