A lover of the great outdoors, Peter found solace in the simple yet profound pleasures of golf, hunting, and fishing. Holidays and family gatherings were his arena to truly shine—whether it was an intimate birthday celebration or a grand holiday affair, Peter brought warmth and energy to every room he entered. Excellent conversations, exquisite food, and the finest wines were the hallmarks of the cherished memories he created with his extensive family and circle of friends.

Peter’s devotion to Chicago’s sports scene was only outshined by his love for Sarah Lang, whom he met in 2017. Together, they experienced the highs and lows of cheering for the Blackhawks, Bears, and Cubs, their love blossoming amid victories and defeats. The pair celebrated their love by tying the knot at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Naperville on June 25, 2021. Shortly thereafter, they traded city life for suburban tranquility in Elburn, Illinois, where they welcomed their daughter, Maeve Elizabeth, on April 21, 2022. Peter’s culinary prowess and skill as a barbeque grill master delighted friends and family, often featuring premium meats handpicked from Elburn’s Ream’s Meat Market.
