Woman Noticed Two Small Peepholes In Her Fence And Was Surprised By Who She Saw
Nobody really likes a peeper.
But, I wouldn’t have anything against a couple of peepers you’re about to see today.
They have round, googly eyes, a sweet button nose, and a license to spy on the neighborhood through specially-cut peepholes.
It’s the little things that make my day and make me wish I lived in such a neighborhood.
Meet Seymour and Billie – a couple of nosy Nellies that spend most of their time monitoring the situation outside their fence.
Nothing goes past their watchful eyes.
The Mickey Mouse-Shaped Peepholes
When Erin drove home that day, she didn’t expect to see that someone had carved Mickey Mouse-shaped peepholes in her fence.
Who would do such a thing?
And, then it occurred to her: the peepholes were cut from the inside, meaning the only one who could’ve done that was her partner, Dean.
But, why would Dean do that? Aren’t there any other ways to decorate their fence? Maybe by painting it?
The sole purpose of these peepholes wasn’t to make their back yard prettier.
It was to help Billie and Seymour, their dogs, have a better look of the neighborhood and a chance to spot Erin driving back home from work.
The dogs used to push their button noses through a tiny hole that was already there in the fence. They always gave Erin a good sniff through it. But, sticking their noses in such a tiny hole was getting dangerous. Eventually, they would end up with a painful splinter.
So, Dean did what he had to do. He grabbed a tool, made the peephole bigger, and added a couple more. There was one for Seymour and one for Billie. And, yes – they looked like a couple of Mickey Mouse heads.
The dogs were thrilled now that they had a better look outside.
The moment Dean went inside, Billie and Seymour tried out their new peepholes. A few moments later, Erin pulled over, coming home from work. It was the perfect timing.
She absolutely melted over seeing the faces of her dear puppers. The scene was too hilarious to stay unnoticed. The whole neighborhood wanted to see the peepers in action, including a four-legged one.
Their furry buddy next door, Wynnie, wanted to join in on the fun. Since the only thing that was dividing them was the fence, Dean had to do another crafty project: he made a little gate between the neighbors for the dogs to come and go as they pleased.
Needless to say, it brought so much joy to all three of them.
Whether they’re just zooming around or spying on the neighborhood through those Mickey-shaped peepholes, Seymour, Billie, and Wynnie are having a blast!
